After several years of development, the beta version of WP Store Locator 3.0 is almost ready for testing. Among other things, it contains the long awaited support for OpenStreetMap and Mapbox.

• A new modern theme
• Support for Mapbox and OpenStreetMap
• Fields manager that allows you to manage custom data fields
• Appearance editor that allows you to customize the theme style/cta buttons/map styles (custom colors, icons, etc.)
• Theme section editor that allows you to customize the code for different theme sections
• Show the current open/closed status
• Make the current opening status expandable, showing the hours for the rest of the week
• Select specific locations to display contact details, opening hours and post content. For example, only show opening hours in the search results and not in the marker popup
• Option to select an active store marker
• Option to set a category marker
• Option to show the number of returned results
• If the search input is a country or state, return all results restricted to the provided country/state
• Default category filter selection
• Hide the map until the first search is made
• If no results are found, optionally show the nearest location ignoring the search radius
• Automatically start a search when the user moves the map around
